2008 3.9l 6cyl flex fuel. This is my sons car. Starts and runs well when it's warm out. When the weather has turned cold, it starts hard after it sits for 6+ hours. It turns over fine but engine stumbles and he has to press the accelerator to get it to start. Takes a long time to start. Once it starts, you can smell the fuel out of the exhaust, very rich smell. He will go to work for 4 or 5 hours and when he comes out it will start up fine. He says its worse the colder it gets outside, and the longer it sits. Apparently it did this towards the end of last winter and he failed to tell me. But he thought the issue just went away cause all spring/summer/fall it started up just fine. Now it started doing it again this winter. Any ideas?
