moderately quick buick.

Traded the Impala in. Lost my ass but it was going to be unsafe to drive soon, strut towers in left/right rear of car were rotten to the point that the car was beginning to sag in the rear.

Here's what replaced it. 2003 Park Avenue Ultra, L67 powered goodness.

Shit happens.. I realized with that , the bad A/C line and several other problems (rockers were GONE underneath, pinch welds were all rusty and rotten out) it was beneficial to just let it go and cut my losses. They didn't notice the rust I don't think (thank god) so that part is over.

I love Ultras!!! Nice car! More interioir photos!
it's dirty as fuck. I'm going to be washing it and cleaning the inside here in a bit, I'll take some fresh shots for you

Wow, after all those posts about how much you loved that car, I'm a little shocked. But, that Buick is nice, and you can crank some serious power out of that L67, it will make a great sleeper.
when I saw the rot while it was up on a lift, I decided it was time to just let go.. I stopped fixing stuff and just put it off to the side of the driveway. I'm upset about it but there's a point where ya just can't do it anymore.

The Buicks are cool, but yeah a little surprised you didn't fix the Impala.
would've been at least $4000.

needed both rear strut towers cut out and replaced, trunk floor was rusting through, rockers needed to be cut out and replaced, radiator core support wasn't there anymore.. 85% rusted away.

Spent a lot of time removing mud and dirt from the inner wheel wells, and a lot of time trying to make the chrome on the wheels come out a little better. I Think it looks pretty good.

Here's an underhood as well, same as it looked the other day. I will clean it the next time I wash the car.

Nice, I like it! Time to murder it out, LOL.

nope..

The only problem with Ultras is they are quite at highway speed. He got 3 tickets in 2 years all 15 over, should have used cruise control or watched for the state trooper.
Nice ride.
Exactly.. that's the whole point. I was surprised how quiet it is 120+

The Park Ave is a beautiful car, a definite upgrade! Congratulations man.
Thanks man :)

also..cool thread bros
