Looking to get some AC Delco Beam wiper blades from RockAuto. And Winter is coming up and I am in MIchigan. Anyone have thoughts on beam blades in general, and the AC Delco beam blades specifically?

Tried to do a few searches on here but kept getting posts of people selling wiper blades.

I bought new 2008, 2011 and 2012 Impala LTZ models. I now own a 2014 Impala 2LTZ, purchased new.

One of the older models (2008 or 2011?) came standard with the ACDelco beam wiper blades. They worked very well and I bought replacements from the dealer when due (but they lasted a long time and were very quiet.).

The 2012 & 2014 models came with plastic / rubber standard wiper blades - which work well. However, I always liked the beam blades that came on one year of the Impala and wished they were used on newer models.

The beam blades did not load-up with ice or slush in the winter (I live in the Midwest) like the standard blades do. I never buy aftermarket blades, and have always bought OEM replacement blades due to their higher quality.

I don’t think you’ll go wrong with the beam blades - and I suspect they fit all models of the 8th generation Impala.

Super pleased with the AC Delco Beam blades from Rock Auto. So far they are better than the way more expensive Bosch that I had bought previously. Still too soon to tell have they will do in the snow and ice that I will get soon. I expect with so few parts, beam blades will work pretty good this winter.
