Do the headlights themselves seem to have better light output
than factory and are you running hid's? P.S. DOES IT USE THE STOCK 9005/9006 BULBS?

If anyone happens to stumble upon this thread when installing your 2000-2005 chevy impala headlights and you encounter the same issue, no halos or leds hooked up yet... just plug and play connect with the harness and all of the lights work properly except when your turn signals are on they begin to flash faster on the dash and not work properly.. its not the bulbs, the person in this thread is correct, the three wires, yellow white and black to the new halo projectors turn signal are not wired properly, i cut the white wire and the yellow and then switched them so that white was connected to yellow and yellow was connected to white... and BAM... problem solved, no bulb switch needed... simply just splice and reverse the wires. thanks a lot to this thread I have gotten them set up rather easy!

HELP!!!!!!

i bought some halo projection headlights for 2002 my impala and i wired them up and tryed installing them but my flasher is acting like its blown and when i look in the car the flashing arrows for the turn signal on my dash is on and not blinking
plz help

OK I've done this and when I changed the wires they worked perfect
About 2 weeks later the driver side turn signal bulb blew . Changed the bulb and all is good. A couple weeks after that and the pass side stops flashing. The rear flashes fast Like a burnt out bulb but front does not flash. I changed the bulb and no difference. The green arrow does not light up on the dash. My question is now would a bad bulb in the dash cause the front to not flash and the rear to be fast? .
I also replaced the turn signal switch when I did the new headlight.

Oh and car is 02 3400 base

Hey guys, long time lurker first time poster. This forum has helped me solve many minor problems with my 02 impala LS and has saved me a lot of money. Hopefully someone can come through with some great answers again. Posted this here as well as in mechanical/electrical problems, I need to get to the bottom of this ASAP.

My problem is that I recently bought a pair of the Halo, LED aftermarket headlights for my 02 impala. Everything went well with installation other than the fact that all my turn signals (left and right, front and back) blink extremely fast when I turn them on. The hazard lights work and blink normally. However, to troubleshoot the problem I replaced my taillight bulbs in case they coincidentally were about to go out the same day I put my new headlights in, then I replaced one side with my OEM Headlight and that side returned back to normal so I'm a little puzzled.

I've seen a lot of posts saying I need to replace my Hazard switch/flasher which is integrated together I believe, but I don't think that is the problem due to my original headlights functioning fine. Do I need to buy a heavy duty flasher like for trailers in order for my turn signals to return to working order?

I wired my Halo's and LED's into the lowbeam wires and never touched the turn signals. Is there too much load? I didn't think LED's draw much power so I'm not sure if that has anything to do with it. Any thoughts or solutions would be much appreciated!

Thanks in advance!

Shawn
ok heres the fix !! I went through the same problem !! pulled my hair out over it too !! however the problem is in factory defect !! the marker/blinker on the halo/led has a black,,yellow,, and a white wire...theres the problem white and yellow are backwards !!!! cut white and yellow wires and swap them !! that's it !! if you plug in your factory pieces you will notice the 2 filliment bulb (marker and directional ) are running opposite of the new halo/led that you have now !! swap it and all done !!

listen guys I got an 02 impala had the same problem w/ halo/led lights after pulling my hair out for 2 weeks I found the solution !! no resistors or relays..on the new lights simply cut and swap the yellow and white wires !! the manufacturer wired them wrong !!! (on the marker/ blinker ) problem solved pleas pass it on.
