What size tire? And what does not breaking the bank mean to you? For mid level tires, I like the general altimax rt43. Does well in snow and is rated for 75k miles. They can usually be had for around $100 per tire. For cheaper, I put the nokian entyre on my impala. I currently have 50k miles on them. They started out great in the snow, but performance has certainly diminished as I am now down to 4/32 of tread. For a $60 tire (occasionally goes on sale on amazon) I have zero complaints with the performance.

Ah yeah...those are gonna be a lot more expensive. Don't think you will find anything super budget friendly thats worth having in those size.

The ones you recommended aren't too bad in that size. I've also been looking at the crugen hp71. It's a very new model tire though
