Rim Refresh

I finally got around to taking off those ugly hub caps and repainting the old & crusty rims. I like the new look, what do you guys think? And I know, I know... Clean off the tire.

I did 3 coats of each: primer, color, and clear.

When I was born I was given a choice of having a big crank or having perfect memory, I can't remember what I chose though...

Looks great! Now clean the tire well and put some sort of tire shine on them and it'll look awesome.

It seems like I read here that they can be drilled, but I don't recall any details. If someone wanted to do it himself, I don't know how to go about getting the holes aligned perfectly - no one wants a wobbly hub cap

I'd hate to pay a machine shop to do it, but I'd also hate having an off-center hub cap

I have found the best way to prepare sushi is to dip it in batter and deep fry it.

As for the rubber, we used to use Future Floor Wax, a water-based acrylic - just apply it and let it dry - no buffing needed. It's now sold under the Pledge brand.

Nice wheel chock, BTW

i contemplated it as well but decided against having a messed up rim that the cap wasn't perfectly centered on lol
