1967 impala need new a Pillars. which years swap?

Hello all, so I have a 67 impala wagon. My A Pillars (pillar trim on the inside sides of windshield) are plastic and broken from previous owner. 50 year old plastic isn't exactly the best so I'd rather not look for a direct replacement. The SS and other models came with chrome metal ones and I'd like to go that route. Do other years swap? I keep seeing things that say 66-68 or 65-68 swap. There is a cheap set on ebay from a 65. I want to get and they look the same, but not cheap enough to desire chancing it. Can anyone give an educated answer? (Guess)

Also I know there was 7 or so different body models of the 67 and could see the convertible being different, but shouldn't all the models be there same trim piece?

I never knew of any '67 having "Plastic" or any kind of Vinyl Cover Padded A-Pillars covers, like the '68's do, but it could be possible. It's also possible that someone could have put '68 Covers in your '67, if they do fit the dashboard correctly. But Polished Aluminum Covers from a '67 Hard Top car, whether a 2-Dr or 4-Dr most likely won't fit. If the Windshields interchange most likely the A-Pillar Trim will, but I believe they are different. I just checked on my '67 Bel-Air Wagon parts car and both Painted Covers are gone. That would be your best bet getting some from a Wagon or a Sedan car. As long as the Windshields interchange the Trim should as mentioned above.

Thanks for the reply Bill. Yeah I have the original light blue interior, the pillars are painted blue plastic. The same as the two side dash vents. And unfortunately the vents are in worse shape than my pillars. I found a perfect black set of those though. But I think whoever the previous owner had redo the dash pad used a power drill to reinstall the pillar covers. But there is no cloth or fabric. If I can figure out how to post a photo I'll snap a photo tomorrow. I rarely see parts especially for the wagons come up and I found a set on ebay that look like they might fit, but would rather have an educated guess before I buy so I don't waste money. Be best if I could walk the parts to the car directly but that isn't really an option. I'll have to look, to me the front ends look all the same but I might be missing something, but the changes seem behind the windshield except the convertible, which is obvious. Do you think the 68 would be a better option than a 65 or 66 or possibly all work. Trying to use ebay to get a guess and the years are all over the place.
