...carburator? I replaced the stock intake and carb on my 1979 chevy with edelbrock performer series gear, in doing so i wasn't able to reconnect the california emissions reducer/coal cannister back onto the intake and carb. It has passed aircare previously with no problems and the engine is in good shape,/exhaust, I was wonder my chances of it passing once I get it driving again and will having a larger carb and no emissions reducer effect the out come of it passing aircare.

I don't know about your states laws , but an EGR Performer is legal in most states .

As for the carb , a quadrajet flows up to 750 cfm , has emissions hookups , and really isn't hard to tune if you read up on it a little .
