...Intake or on the carburetor? It's a 1967 Camaro with a 1988 center valve cover engine. 350, 700R4 transmission, Edelbrock 1406 carb, alum Edelbrock 2104 Intake. Also, the fuel throttle is the orginal "rod" style. Do I need to change the fuel throttle rod to cable? Does anyone have one for sale?

On your application you need both a throttle cable bracket and detent/kickdown cable setup. The detent cable goes to your transmission and it is adjustable. I used to buy them from Summit Racing equipment.com. They are pretty inexpensive. They bolt directly on your carburator hold down bolts. Just remember that you'll probably have to adjust your detent cable after you put it on. Go on a test drive and ajdust it accordingly.
