when i pull the transfer case stick, it engages, but my 4x4 light doesn't like..and i hear a faint little click whne i roll forward and backwards. I think the actuator died....i like a cheap replacement or a cheap cable system..but everything is like 130 for the actuator...and almost 200 for a cable replacement
Yeah i tried ebay, they don't match up with my wireing.

My 1995 Chevy K1500 is doing the same thing and with some research I found that chevy had a service bulletin. The bulletin stated that the thermal acuator located in the front differential will either get really slow or quit on you when it gets cold outside. They sell updated ones that don't have that problem but you have to upgrade the harness that it plugs into for an additional 80 dollars. So to fix it your looking at a little over 200 dollars and a little bit of labor. the acuator and the harness are pretty simple to install. I've checked all over the internet and at local dealers and they are all about the same price. If you want me to email the service bulletin to you I can. And if you find a place to get them cheaper would you email me? I don't really have 200 dollars to blow currently. Also where could I get a cable replacement? I didn't know they had one.
