As RaySS said the last year for the Caprice was 1996 which is the same year that Chevrolet also dropped the Impala line for the second time. All Caprice's were RWD. Any 2000 to current Impalas are all FWD. On the older Impala's and Caprice's most of the parts for each year would interchange. Front and Rear Lights being one difference.
