Ive been having problems, with my battery in my 95 Caprice, Im probably going to buy a new one this wknd, but wanted to hear peoples opinions, on what battery would be the best.to not only power the car but also a sound system

i second the optima.....i have a yellow top. my impala is not my daily driver (company car and gas....WOOHOO!) and i have gone as long as a month or two without driving it. the battery is going on 4 years now without any problems. the deep cycle batteries are best if you don't drive your car a lot.

what city are you in? there is a guy that sells batteries at a discount i can get his number for you....he has optimas too...about ten bucks or so cheaper than the stores.
