As I still have one painted part to have put on yet I will ask the Body Shop how long to wait before waxing the new paint when I go back.
From what I have read on the internet most recommend 30 days , any thoughts :dunno:

I have heard that as well, but the body shop where I work will wax the fresh paint even just a couple days after spraying it, and they guarantee their work for life., so it must not be doing any harm.

I suppose the actual brand of paint is a factor .

That's definitely true. Your best bet is to ask the body shop who did the painting.

Probably all waterborne paints now as it wont kill the whales.
May take longer to cure and your in a high humid area so 90 days is not unreasonable.

Was told about the same time here when the fixed out impala.
It is all waterborne mandated here now. Has been for 2 years.
