Water in passenger side 2003 impala

Howdy -

Have a 2003 impala that recently started leaking clear water into the passenger side floorboard.
Tried clearing out the a/c drain tube at firewall -- seemed not to be clogged. I feel air coming through the tube w/ a/c running.

However - it is not draining - no water under car w/ a/c on.

Any suggestions??

thanks

Has it rained recently or have you been through a car wash?

Might be too cold for the AC to run, depending on where you live. My suggestion would be to go to a car wash and you sit in the passenger seat and have someone spray the area with water and watch for the leak. The only suggestion I can make is that there is a plastic drip tray that is available from GM that goes underneath the wiper cowl that helps channel water away to the fenders to stay outside the car. Your Impala may or may not have one there. I would buy this piece and install it if it isn't there. Only other thing I can think of is did you have the windshield replaced recently? If so, they could have done a poor job of sealing the windshield properly.
I had the same issue with my 2004 impala, where water was coming in thru the cabin air filter. The panel under the wipers is split into 2 halves, one on the drivers and one on the passenger's side. The passenger side panel is removable to access the cabin air filter (its held on by 2 plastic expanding rivets, and a single plastic "nut"). There should be a strip that's attached to the bottom of the windshield that prevents water from getting to the filter that can be dislodged.

hope this helps
