Changed my air filter today, noticed that this part plugs into the rubber pipe between the engine/air filter... but the other end just dangles out the back.

That the way it should be? or is it supposed to fit into something?

It plugs into the rear valve cover beneath the ignition module. The fitting on the end tends to get loose in the valve cover opening. A new tube will fit more snugly. I think I gave maybe 10 bucks for a new one on eBay or Amazon.

Bummer... any chance you have a link to a pic? Not exactly sure where that is.

EDIT - Found it... not an easy thing to get in there, wish that tube had some more flex to it. End is in the hole but slight angle, not as good a fit as I would want but, dark out and didn't want to take stuff apart to get it in better. Hopefully it's ok (?)
