96 Impala starts runs for different periods of time then dies. Sometime it will start immediately then other times it will try to start but never start. Go out the next morning it'll start right up and repeat the process. I've put 3 opti's on it the past 2 years. I wondering what else can cause this problem. I have good fuel pressure. I'm wondering if the mass air sensor can cause this.

Only very few people here with lt1 experience. You still have good fp when it acts up? So you are sure is not the f.p.?

No security light?

Try the other sub forum in these parts or go to the experts at ls1lt1.com . (See you there)

Thoughts:

  • Failing ignition control module
  • Failing ignition coil
I've owned an LT4 Corvette for 12 years, these are 2 possibilities off the top of my head.
