Doyle, all "Blue books" only go back to, say early to mid 90's' . If ya look in the phonebook under automobile appraisers for a slight fee they can give you an estimated value of your wagon. It's based on vehicle condition, options, originality of the drivetrain(#matching car) and recent sales of the same vehicle through auctions and availability of such sales. Is it all original? What make of buick is it,such as Electra 225,Wildcat,Le sabre etc? Options it has as opposed to what came as "fully loaded" and engine size(some of these came with the 425, 2- 4 barrel carb set up(back then you could order a car with all kinds of mismatched interiors and different engine sizes) So you really need to contact at least 3 of these appraisers to come up with a ballpark figure on what it is worth

with such an old car we really need to know the condition of it before we can put a value on it. It could be worth nothing or it could be worth 20 grand.!

Yeah... way too many variables. Condition, what all is original, what's been modified.... More over is how much you want it!
