Hey everyone!

This coming spring I will be pulling the trigger on a 12-13 Impala.

It will serve road trip duties and some light daily driving when I don't feel like driving the Caddy. Also will try using it for Lyft/Uber in my spare time.

Right now what I have planned:

Upgraded tires
Brighter headlights
Upgraded brakes
CAI/Tune

I'm in AZ so I travel to Northern AZ, Vegas, SoCal and Mexico quite a bit. So it's hot hot during the summer would you recommend some type of radiator upgrade?

If this was your car what mods would you do?

Why do you need to do all that just to go on road trips?
We took our 15 stock Impala on a road trip and it was great as it was.

Id leave the radiator as is IMO.
If it's that hot, then maybe take your foot out of it a bit, but stock OE rad should be sufficient. If you know your going to pull off in 5 miles or so then wind it back from 80mph to maybe 65 and then let it idle for a few when you pull off. If the fans are running all the better.
If your in a rest stop for a few minutes open the hood and let some heat out.
