Went out to the track on Wednesday for a little test and tune action... Car was a tenth off of last time I went out, but it was WAY hotter and WAY WAY more humid so I guess it's to be expected... Next step will be Beehive Springs and 1.6 Roller Rockers :)

... just got done doing some reading on the 6th Gen Engine Performance section, and was checking out the DA calculator... I entered in all the info exactly as it was that night as well as my E.T & MPH, and am VERY happy now that I see a "corrected E.T." of... wait for it... drum roll..... 14.71 @ 95.30 MPH. That's a big piece of alright as far as I'm concerned... long as that calculator is semi-accurate. I knew it was hot as balls and humid as a mofo, which OBVIOUSLY has a negative affect on running at the track and trying for a good time. That's a bit closer(a little better if I'm honest) to what I expected to run... Of course, what I expected did not take into account the difference in the weather from the last time out until now :) ... Will definitely be going back out before long for another go... hopefully with a bit less humidity(uh, in south Florida - this time of year, YEAH RIGHT!)... More timeslips to come.......
