What should I do?

2001 3.4 basic 210 K
haven't had it flushed in since I got it at about 113K
pretty brown with metal flecks
running smooth
different advice:
some say pressured flush is damaging
some tried to shark me for transmission replacement
one offered to do with Dex. for 149$
I'm not a DIYer.

DO NOT pressure flush it.
You can get someone to do a full fluid swap through the transmission cooler lines with the BG exhange machine or something similar.
Or do a pan drop, change the strainer out with a WIX strainer, and replace the pan magnet with two per GM TSB 08-07-30-040C. DO NOT use the cork or rubber pan gasket in the strainer kit. Re-use the bonded pan gasket or get a GM replacement. You can find the magnet TSB about halfway through this post.

I'm with the others advising against a wallet flush. If anything, drop the pan, replace the filter, and clean out the bottom of the pan. That said, if you have metal flakes in your fluid, as you stated, I'd save your money for the trans rebuild / replacement you're going to need.
