Fixing to do some things like brakes, suspension etc.
Does anyone know where to find a good source for torque specs and the like?

I found this but I do not know how good it is:
2015 Chevrolet Impala Auto Repair Manual - ChiltonDIY
Besides Chilton/Haynes , there are several other on-line auto manual sources. I like to get a Haynes or Chilton manual for hardcopy and also have some sort of electronic source.

I think alldatadiy.com is the primary source. That is, they create or have the factory shop manuals, so their on-line stuff is the best reference, as I've been told. (for GM)

As for torque specs in particular, I've been generally pleased with my Haynes/Chilton books, altho I've found a few things lacking in support of my Chevy Cruzes. (BTW, to be clear, Haynes and Chilton are both part of the same company. For my Cruzes, I have both manuals, and they appear to have the same info in them. So only one is needed.)

My suggestion is to get the 20-25 dollar Chilton or Haynes hardcopy manual and see how far you get, then look into adding an online subscription. The alldata stuff is $20 for 1 year, or $35 for 5 - I have the latter for my daughter's Ford Escape. It's not perfect, but between that and the Haynes, I've got most of it covered.
...
This just in (via Google): https://www.autoeducation.com/free_repair_manuals.htm

According to the linked article, Autozone now owns alldata , and much of that info is now available thru autozone.com . Read the article for more info.

No luck with the AutoZone site.
I went with the Chilton e-manual. 30 bucks for a year the subscription and it is indeed for the newer bodystyle.

Seems to have everything I was looking for:
-Torque values
-Which are TTY bolts (onetime use bolts that need replacing)
-Step by step instructions
-Etc...

I like to get the hardcopy book and use it with the on-line stuff. I'll print out drawings and other stuff from the website and stuff it into the book in the corresponding chapter to augment what's there.

Here is anohter hidden-gem of a site that I recently found out about:

https://www.roswell-nm.gov/1112/Chilton-Auto-Repair-Library

It's an online Chilton library for just about every car - and it's all 100% free (they post the password right on the main page).

Wish I knew about this long ago....
Your right about the hidden gem!!! I didn't compare side to side with my $30 subcribed version, but they look very similar and had all the info I was looking for. Save yourself some money and look at jtrosky's link first. You won't be sorry

Has anyone tried this lately? It's asking for more info now :(

It now re-directs the user to this page: http://www.elportalnm.org/

There you click on the ChiltonLibrary.com link where you see this below.

I'm bummed.

Here is another link/password to access the Chilton library - not sure how long it will last (that previous one was around for a long time and just suddenly quit working):
