yea, that didnt work for my cpu.... auction probley ended. is there an actual website that may carry those. I know they were in honor of something and they were made for imitation of the corvette or something like that. But they dont make them any more......as far as i know. But i would really like to be able to pick the covers up, but finding them is the problem...any help?
It is true that GM no longer produces them. The easiest way to get them is to watch ebay. The only other real option is to scavenge the local scrapyards or www.car-parts.com for the taillights to come in a wrecked impala.
Most of the time you need to paint them to match your car, as they often no longer come in sets that are all one color, let alone yours.
Still, 150 or 200 bucks is way better than 600-800 at the dealer.
You have the option of a vinyl kit, but they're a bugger to install properly, easily damaged, and the vinyl will lose it's color over time.
