I just can't get over the fact that it doesn't look real... Like the car doesn't even look functional with those wheels. The car looks good. I like the wheels only if they were smaller... 22's are as big as I would ever go.

Also I don't know about you but I've never seen a car with wheels this big in person.. Maybe that's why I don't like it because nobody around me does it.

I've seen this on Craigslist before. Makes me sick. That was a perfectly good b-body wagon, which are getting VERY hard to find in good shape anymore, and now it's virtually useless. Can't turn very well (or quickly for that matter), can't really drive at highway speeds, and it doesn't even look all that good.

Those same wheels in 20s or 22s would look AWESOME and it would still be 100% functional.

I used to think like you.. over the years I've slowly moved to the "in it makes you happy, do it" frame of mine.

Customization is just that. Custom. Let them do as they please.

Oh, I definitely get the "do what makes you happy."

I just wish they didn't do it to a B wagon. That was my first car, so it holds a special place in my heart, and they're really a nice looking car. The fact that I want to own another one some day, and that they're so hard to find (and when you do find them, they're usually either pretty beat up, or cut up to fit huge wheels like this), it's just lowering my chances of getting another one at a reasonable price some day.

If this was a crown vic, or even a sedan caprice, I'd be much more inclined to say "not my cup of tea, but I can appreciate it."

Not my cup of tea. I like tires too much lol... A little more cushion between me and the asphalt :eek:k3:

Creatively speaking, it's definitely unique! I've never seen that ever before on any make or model.

Just didn't realize you had actually gone out and cut the fenders up to fit them. We were this close to having a donk on the site

Hahahaha.. we sure were. Had I kept the car I would have had them on. Found a set I liked for $800 second hand. Which is cheap for 26's.

While everyone is free to do as they please, I personally think it just looks stupid. Just like anything else in life, moderation is key. Go too far overboard and you ruin the idea, which is exactly what happens when you get huge wheels on car that wasn't designed for them.

Besides it looking stupid, it's also un-realistic for a daily-driver and I would even go as far to say it's a safety issue. With those tiny tires, I would imagine that hitting even a small pothole could cause a major accident at highway speeds!

Just don't see any "pros" at all... Again, just my opinion.
