I'm currently working on a 2000 Chevrolet Impala 3.4 liter engine trying to do the LIM gasket fix for the last 4 months(I take a long time). I have a snag with trying to remove the rear valve cover with the bolt at the driver side bottom that is blocked by the coil pack stud. I just bought a stud removal sockets of 6mm and 8mm but none of them seem to grab. What did you do to remove it?

I think it just a nut on the stud. You should be able to get with a 10m I think.

U dont need to take the studs out man, its just four nuts that hold it down. I did remove the stud to put a new one but i used a stubby crescent wrench.

10mm not working on stud. I can't reach the last nut on the valve cover. I tried sockets but can't grab on anything without stripping it.
