I've been referencing this helpful forum a lot since picking up a 200k mile 2008 SS in April.

Today I replaced both drive axles for what I thought was bad CV joints (regular clicking when accelerating with the wheel turned either way). The driver side boot was torn, but the passenger side looked fine.

So after replacing both axles (and all four brake pads while I was in there) and adding some Dexron VI, I took it for a spin, and unfortunately I am still hearing the clicking while accelerating with the wheel turned. It seems to be coming only from the right side, and is much more pronounced when turning left.

Does anyone have any thoughts on what else could be causing this? Did I possibly get a bad axle (Detroit Axle - i've used them before without issue).

Thank you in advance!
