I recently had installed a resonator. The mechanic noted that because of its shape ( nearly flat top ) it was a slightly difficult part to weld without replacing more of the exhaust system. I see exhaust leak cement at both front and rear ends of the connections. I've noticed a small drip from the front end of the resonator, engine end) which eventually stops after a drive. I know this is normal condensation that can be seen at the muffler tail until it burns off - but what about the resonator? Does it also have a weep hole or could this drip indicate a bad weld?
