Hello,

Was wondering if I could tap the group expertise.

Trying to replace the rear wheel hub on our '01 LS. I have the four hubs bolts removed but the hub will not budge. Does the backing plate and e-brake assembly come off, too, or just the hub assembly by itself?

I search the forum, found great info on the front hub, but little one the rear hub.

I supposed the hub could be seized in but it's pretty clean back there.

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you very much for the response. I'm bummed I can't see the pictures.

I may have to google how to remove the hub and park brake assembly from the knuckle. I cannot see how they are attached to the knuckle. It's totally kicking my butt.

Thanks again for the help. If anyone has any advice on removing the hub and brake from the hub, that would be awesome.
