This is a Gen 7 but the Gen 8 should not be much different.

Replacing MF switch?
So, yesterday, i went to use my high beams (BIG MISTAKE, apparently)... they turned on and now they wont turn off. I am thinking that it is my MF switch, because the usual "click" feeling when it locks into place is now nowhere to be found. My car is currently undrivable at night until i figure this out. so if anyone has any temp fix ideas that would be much appreciated.
Any other ideas of what it could be? (Mind you, I am very mechanically unsound... so be gentle)
I might add this is the second 9C1 impala in my family so i know my way around a bit.
