After months and months of saving, I finally went out and bought my first real car, a 2012 Impala LT. This car is a total beast compared to my old 1999 Monte Carlo. I love everything about this car. I'll probably use this thread to post all of my future mods also.

The day I brought her home:

Some before pictures:

Things I've currently dipped:

The roof:

The side trim:

The spoiler:

Mods I want to do:
CCFL Halo Projector Headlights
Dip the front grills and side mirrors black
18" (possibly 20") rims
20% tint all around
LED light strip in cutouts on front bumper
Possible audio system
+ more that I cant think of at the moment

Wow just realized you responded. Sorry. But I was looking at some CCFL Halo lights. I was looking at the Spyder ones, but $300+ is a lot for some headlights at the moment.

Get the Anzo ones - they have some small differences from the Spyder ones, but they make them look better IMO.

I got my Anzo halos for $200, while they're upwards of $400 retail. Search Ebay for 'em if you want.

You could also consider trying Matt's (donmateo) site, he has halos for under $300.

i have a white 2013 LT and i do not know what to do with the front grill.

ive had my impala for about 4 months now and the last couple vehicles i modded the hell out of but with this impala i want to make suttle, tastefull mods. i was thinking of going black with the front grill and painting the front and rear badge white and keeping the chrome trim on the chevy badge. but i dont know how black would look on the front grills

If your grille is grey, no doubt, paint or dip it black, including the chrome trim. It will look a lot more classy, and IMO, good.

Paint the front bowtie the same color as the body.

Ok cool. Where is a good place to get the bulbs?

When I was researching led interior bulbs for my cobalt, some of them needed resistors soldered onto them so they would operate correctly.

You usually only need load resistors for turn signal bulbs.

X2 on Jeff's post, superbrightleds is a good source.
