I am restoring a 62 Impala, the rear end has shifted and is rubbing the left rear tire. I was told in the "day" drag racing that additional upper control arm (boomerang arm) was added on the other side to prevent this. I will be taking the chassis off in a couple weeks to weld in a full floor pan. Any suggestions or specs on the rear-end.

Thanks - Daryl

Is your frame bent?? To my knowledge you can't "align" a rear solid axle (besides it's position on the leafs or coil springs[if it's coil then maybe you broke/bent the arms holding the axle on])
