Noticed that its not working .
Read up online that it could be the relay fuse under the hood or a burnt wire beside the passenger side kick panel.

Any ideas ? Need it fixed asap as it has snowed like crazy here .

Thanks

There is a large discussion on here from several years ago about this problem with all 8th gen cars (06- limited cars). The problem is in the passenger side kick panel where the main power for the rear defroster goes through a wiring harness plug. It's a heavy gauge wire that carries a lot of current, which the small terminal cannot handle. Over the years it eventually burns up. Cut the wire out of the terminal and splice it together. It needs to be spliced together with the same gauge wire, then soldered together and heat shrink wrapped or taped up. No fuse is needed, because it already has one in the cars fuse panel. If your car has never had this fix, this is where your trouble is.
