It is a problem with only your drivers door lock actuator. If you are mechanicaly inclined you can remove the door panel and test the wiring to the actuator and find the problem. It may have become disconnected or a loose/broken wire.

i have a chevy impala....whenever i click the unlock button in my key chain, all the doors open execpt the driver side door...and then i have to open it manually....and its the same while closing...whenever i click the lock button, everything gets locked except the driver side door....
just wanted to know is this how it works in others cars...or is there a problem with my car....what might be the fix for this issue
