My buick was in need of some better light output while drivin the country roads so i got on ebay and found some pretty cheap kits, so i found a kit for under $80 plus free shipping, i ended up getting the 8000k kit, when the kit came i installed it in about 20 minutes, just plug and play, only thing about these kits is that you have to have the high beams switch on in order for them to work, but besides that they are awesome, it makes factory lights look brown. a great investment for better vision.

well its weird, in the kit it's suppose to be high and low beams, the kit has two bulbs for each side (high-low) and the low beam bulb is like a H3 bulb and its just like a normal factory bulb light, then turn it on high and its bright as hell and bluish color, the hid have alot better coverage and visibility than my old silverstarts, i think thier worth the $80

because the little chinese people who put your wiring in the plug put it in the wrong way. Trust me. The HID bulb should be on AT ALL Times, then that worthless fog light bulb is the high.

well i do keep the hid on all time, its just the high beam has to be kept on, and why would someone put the small bulb as a high beam when its worse then a factory light, lol retards i guess. And i havent been flashed yet but they are pretty neat.

that little bulb is on there because it's a ricer approach at ghetto rigging a high beam in the 9004 application. All Bi-xenons from the factory incorporate a single bulb that has a rotating shield. Changes beam pattern and allows more light when on highs. For aftermarket application, they don't bother. You either have a system that has the bulb move in and out (ideal) or up and down at an angle, or add a second bulb to serve as the high beam.

Remeber that HID bulb is 3200 lumes (less the higher the K) per bulb. That's like 3 times the stock light output. That little fog light bulb is your high beam, and is just there to add a noticeable difference between low/hi for inspection or flashing someone.

If your high beam indicator is while just the HID bulb is on, then the wiring is incorret and a diode will need to be placed in the wiring on the HID system. If you're saying the little fog bulb is on all the the time, and the HID only comes on when the high beams are clicked, then wiring is reversed.

hmm, nah to just run the HID bulb i have to have it on high beam, so that means wiring is reveresed which really doesnt bother me and its pointless to run around with the little fog light bulb becuz its terrible lighting, anywho thanx
