First make sure the fuse is the correct ampreage for the pump. Second check for a break in the wire where it could be shorting out on to something else. Third check for corrosion at the wire connection points, corrosion will cause the wire to need more ampreage and that can blow the fuse.
Did you change the fuel pump filter also? Filter restriction can make the pump work harder and draw more than the needed power.
