Never tried it but I can say I used to think those more expensive products were rip offs and the auto store stuff was just as good. I finally tried some Blackfire I bought online and wasn't cheap. I changed my mind. Not only did it look better than the Meguiars Ultimate Wax I was using it was a hell of a lot easier wiping it off after it dried. Well worth the money I paid.
I've heard good stuff about Pinnacle products so I'm sure you'll be pleased.

Before dropping several dimes on the product, has anyone tried it?
Pros and/or cons....
Pinnacle wax is referred to as a show car wax. Essentially a beauty wax. It is not meant to be durable like a sealant (synthetic wax). It does go on easy and buff easy. A little product goes a long way.

Is it worth the money? Well that all comes down to personal preference.

If you are comparing blackfire midnight sun to ultimate wax well that is because they are different products. Midnight Sun is a carnauba based wax. Ultimate Wax is technically a sealant (synthetic wax). Carnaubas offer better looks in terms of paint depth. More noticeable on black paints. Sealants offer a glossy look, longevity and durability. Great on all colors. Especially on light colored cars to get them to look glossy.

Autopia, Autogeek and Amazon are all good places to get it. Autogeek and Autopia have sales weekly.

I bought the Blackfire Wet-Ice Over Fire Combo through Autopia for $66.99 including shipping when they had a sale. It is $69.99 plus shipping right now BLACKFIRE Wet-Ice Over Fire Combo
I see it is about $12 cheaper through AutoGeek right now though BLACKFIRE Wet-Ice Over Fire Combo
Amazon may be cheapest (if you don't get charged tax) at $60.20 which includes shipping Amazon.com: BLACKFIRE Wet-Ice Over Fire Combo: Automotive
Good combo on dark colored paint.

I've read both are owned by PBMG Welcome to Palm Beach Motoring Group
Blackfire, Wolfgang and Pinnacle are house brands. They are all different formulas.

FYI PBMG is no longer the owner of Autogeek.

I actually was comparing the Blackfire Wet Diamond Sealant to Meguiars Ultimate Wax, I should have been more specific. The Midnight Sun carnauba wax topper is very easy to put on and wipe off as well. Just spread on like butter and wipe off immediately.

So did you ever get some samples hisstory32?

Yes , did order both. I will do a half and half on the hood when weather gets warmer...
It's been a very mild winter, no measurable snow in the past two months..So maybe spring
will be warmer too...lol Also have on my to do list, installing black bowtie emblems....Thanks
to info given by Thomcat.....

Yeah I am familiar with both blackfire products as I own both as well. Wet Diamond is one of the easiest sealants to remove. Last about the same as ultimate wax. Midnight Sun is nice as well. Carnauba's just attract too much dust. Try out midnight sun spray wax. Great stuff.

I've gone the coating route with no need to wax for quite some time. Much easier to maintain as well as looking cleaner more often then a sealant or wax.
