I took my front bumper off to replace my headlight assemblies but forgot to attach the outside ambient temp which was reading -40 degrees Fahrenheit. Yesterday, I reattched it and it still reads -40. I waited overnight and it still read -40. Then replaced the sensor & it still reads -40 degrees. Any suggestions?

Our '14 did the same thing after the sensor was disconnected and reconnected, but operation mysteriously returned to normal after several days. Weird, but it has worked fine since.

I am thinking you move to northern Alaska so the thermometer will be correct on occasion.
