On the 96 SS, what line is the orfice tube is in?

Follow the line coming from the condenser going to the passenger side of the car towards the HVAC unit in the cabin of the vehicle. The other line from the condenser will be going to the ac compressor. On the one going to the cabin you will find a fitting with two large nuts, open it and on the condenser side you will find the orifice tube. Best if you can buy the tool that grabs the orifice tube and pulls it out of the line.

So it's on the high or low line on the 96ss

Should be on the high side between the condenser and evaporator core. Removal tool is best, but I've pulled them out carefully with needlenose pliers.
