Time to bring them together.
The ISSCA Board of Directors voted and ratified a measure to allow all badged Impala’s to participate in the ISSCA Nationals. This is a first step to making ISSCA “The†Impala SS Club of America.
Impala’s from 1958 to 2008 are invited to attend and participate in the 2008 ISSCA National Convention of Membership being held this year at The Gateway International Raceway. Those choosing to participate are invited to compete in each of the five events of the ISSCA Nationals. The ISSCA National competitive events are Car Show with specific year, mod and mileage classes, Sound Off with wattage class break outs, Drag racing both bracket and heads up, auto cross and road course with classed based on modifications to the car.

The Impala SS Club of America welcomes you to the 2008 National Convention of Members to be held in St. Louis June 12th - 15th, 2008.
The 2008 ISSCA National Event will again be held in St. Louis Missouri from June 12th -15th. Highlights of the event are Car Show, Sound Off, Road Racing, Drag Racing and Autocross racing at Gateway International Raceway, and the opportunity to spend a weekend of fun and thrills with Impala SS and GM B & D Body enthusiasts from around the world. This year promises to be our BIGGEST and BEST National Event EVER SO DON'T MISS IT!!
Once again this year, participation in this event is open to the general public and you do not need to be a member of the Impala SS Club of America.
Additionally, ALL badged Impala SS vehicles are welcome! This the the 50th year anniversary of the Impala SS and we plan to celebrate the event in a big way!

Ok, you've probably noticed that I've pasted the same text in the general discussion page of every generation of Impala. We want all years, models, colors, and all of that to come join us for one of the greatest times of your life celebrating one of the greatest car models in history.
But this section - this one right here - This is the room where I really mean it. I love them all, but as a car guy - and I'm sure you'll agree - it's the old iron that draws a crowd every time. So please, PM me if you have to for more information, but if you can at all make it for even day, it'll be worth yout time and expense, and I promise you that you wont' be sorry.
Also - don't let the name IMPALA scare you away if you rock a Biscayne or a Caprice. This event is about celebrating the B-body (and Wimpala's too) so if it's big, old, and chevy - just bring it baby!!!
