Hey everyone! My name is Matt, and like most of you here I have an Impala. I know, shocking.
I've lurked on here for a while to gt answers, but decided to go ahead and finally join.

It's a 2001 Impala LS, we saved it from an uncaring owner to give it some TLC that it really needed. It originally had 73k on it, now I've ran the thing up to 91k in the 15 months of ownership.

I have to fix a few things, but it's for the most part "inconveniences". More on that later...

Well, I know that :worthless_thread:. I've been on plenty of forums lol.

Thanks, guys.

Yeah, I'm definitely going to get the covers.
I ultimately want to paint the black trim silver, get the SS front lip and grill, and the tail light covers. Might also get the Sport package rims and SS exhaust.

Yeah I see two centers on ebay that will work on your car.

Plastic unpainted trim, looks great on the silver colored ones. IMO

I see the tail light center, one in Canada and one in the US

one in Canada is $226 the only risk I see buying from Canada is it getting stuck in customs or lost in shipment?.
One in US is $275 shipped

Is your paint code 12U or 13U should be on the trunk label were the VIN.

Center part is the hardest to find left and right are common. This is because it is normally sold with the trunk.

Ugh, Are you really going to make me get up? :toothy12:
I'll go look shortly. I don't think getting lost is going to be as big of an issue as customs, which isn't that big of a deal, anyways. I'd go with the cheaper one. But I'm cheap.

EDIT: It's 12U. Galaxy Silver.

Welcome! We appreciate the pics (Tony will especially, if he gets on here)
Pics good. Pics always good.

the US seller has the paint code, listed as 12U and does accept offers.

151017556994 US seller

400300847241 Canadian seller.

no offers accepted.

Welcome to Impala Forums!!

Car looks really clean. All it needs from the exterior is some rear bumper attention. The headlights and wheels look to be in great shape though. Not something commonly found with these 7th gens :eek:k3:

I'd recommend against the tail covers as they over-priced for what they are. Simple pieces of plastic. I would either tint the tails or go for some Vinyl covers like posted below. Way cheaper and they lay flat and blend in.

The full Vinyl tail cover kit is only $85 compared to $200-300 for tail covers or new tails w/ covers. Only one downside with the vinyl is they are only offered in black and silver.

Custom Impala Applications

All that's left after that is plasti-dip the grill and trim, Debadge it, some tint, and maybe Ventvisors (I love mine)

Floats my boat: That tony's was floated with me :giggle:
