Okay, so I just recently purchased a 2003 Impala LS and noticed that the map lights in the rear view mirror and the rear click lights don’t come on when the door opens or with the switch (headlights/dimmer), or at all. The floor lights do come on though. The trunk light works too. Checked fuse for IP BRP.. is there anything I’m missing? I read somewhere it could be BCM.

Pictures help us understand exactly which lights you are talking about.....
Are you sure the bulbs themselves are not burned out? That would be my first and most obvious culprit to check, but you did not mention it.....

The map lights in the rearview and the reading lights in the back are on the same fuse as the rest of the interior lights. DO all the other interior lights work? Vanity mirror, dome, etc.?
