No check engine, changed the parts but I still have a evap small leak code...

And I don't know what to do.

A few weeks ago I got a check engine light for EVAP code small leak or code p0442. Within the same week my battery died and I have to get a new one after jumping it. So I guess because of that I have to drive it around a little bit to get the codes up to par then. However the p0442 code still existed. So I changed the canister, change the solenoid valve and I also changed the gas cap.

This by the way is a Chevrolet Impala LS 2014 2.5 l so no fancy 6-cylinder engines here. Now after changing all of those parts, (which were not cheap) it got rid of most of the engine issues on the OBD2 scanner provided by my friend. Because he's a professional mechanic. However the one EVAP code Still Remains and after he checked all of the pipes and make sure there was no small hole in any hoses, he concluded that there was no weak that he could see. And check engine light does not come on but the cold Still Remains when you plug in an OBD2 scanner.

He said that there have been other people with his problem, but I definitely need this finished ASAP because I do Uber and I have to get my emission sticker so I can continue doing the Uber otherwise I can't pay the rent. So this is a serious issue for me.

Anyone have any ideas or Clues what could possibly be the problem. We thought that maybe it is the computer in the the car itself oh, but we don't know and that seems like it will take a lot of effort to check which is very top consumptive and a very last resort. And Chevrolet dealerships charge way too much money for what I can afford because I'm almost broke because of this.

We did change the purge solenoid. Don't know what vent your talking about since the only solenoid in the 2.5L I found was on the front left side of the engine bay
Since the check-engine light is not illuminated, the code is not active and current.

The stored code will be cleared by the car after a pre-determined number of full drive cycles (not jut starting the car and moving it, and shutting off the engine). I do not know the number of cycles for your car.
I've cold started, driven over 100 miles, highway. Also did local driving (city) for 50 miles and the code is still there
