Hi all, Meghan here,

I'm the proud owner of a 2014 Chevrolet Impala Limited LT that I purchased on March 7th, 2015!

I'm having some minor issues activating my SiriusXM 3 month trial. I have no idea how to get my Radio ID, and I have no clue how you get to Channel 0.

Welcome to the forums, and congrats on the new car! I have always liked these cars in this color red, and have always been envious of those with the black interior like yours! I have the light grey interior in mine, and it shows everything easily...

Sorry i can't help with the Sirius radio, or the other radio issues you are having. I can't afford that right now, and all my music is on a USB thumb drive that is read by the Sony i put in it anyway. But i am sure someone here will be able to help you get the straitened or figured out.

Enjoy your stay here, and enjoy the vast wealth o knowledge here as well. Again, good luck with the new ride!

Welcome! We just got an identical car at work, same year, color, trim, and options. Definitely a great car, especially for the money. I also noticed that you still have a small piece of protective tape left on the chrome trim of the upper grille. This was on both of our 14's at work.

Thanks all!

Thankfully, we didn't get hit as bad as Boston. But it was still more snow than I'd like.

I would have never spotted that protective tape ever unless you pointed it out!

Yeah, apparently all of the Impalas at the auction had it. When I noticed it on the first one, I immediately checked for it on the second one we bought. But it is tough to see!

Completely harmless to leave it on, however I do think it looks better with it off. Once you notice it, you won't be able to stop noticing it (at least for me!) Also, the chrome underneath will be really shiny, so it's kinda cool to pull it back :eek:k3:

Welcome to the forum Meghan
Nice Car

To see if your vehicle has the Sirus/XM feature use the Band or Source selector, The letters XM will appear.
If equipped it will have channels 0, 1 and 247 only until you activate.

Good Luck

Welcome, I have satellite radio on my 06 Malibu. I don't use it though after the free period ran out. I do know there is a radio knob to turn to select the different bands..ie FM, AM and satellite radio, perhaps turn to satellite radio then turn the tuner to "0" zero. If that does not work try youtube someone may have made a video how to. also try googling . you may want to go by a Chevrolet dealership at non peak time to their service lane , I am sure they would be glad to show you.

I just noticed something in all the outside pictures the front wheels are pointing forward, then the picture inside your car the wheel is turned. Did you turn the wheels or is that the way your steering wheel looks with the wheels forward.
