Hi my name is Ken, and I mess around with Impalas, and all other GM products.I am currently restoring a 1963 SS four speed car for a friend of mine.I like to build somewhat custom cars( candy paint, hydraulic suspension, etc.)but this car is 100 percent original and stock. So we are going for as stock as possible.I will need a lot of help with the details to restore to factory. I hope I can be of some help to the board, and will do so if possible..............thanks its gonna be a long one haha

Welcome to the forum. That will be one long haul as you and your friend go about doing a factory type restoration on this machine. If going for show Mint Condition do be care full about what hardware you buy and use on this car. Many auto show judges will take off points if the hard ware is not up to the factory specks used in production. Hope this restoration is more fun then headaches. Kenny.
