I got a letter towards the end of November stating my Navigation system should be updated, kit cost 160.00, but on special for 99.99 thru Dec 31st. About a week ago it came in a DVD case with a thumb drive and directions. The car has to be kept running for roughly 50 mins while uploading, not driving. I find that odd.

Anyone else get the letter? I figure you'd have to have bought the car new from Chevy to get it and of course have the Nav system.

Completed the upgrade, took about 25 mins instead of the 50. Wonder how many times thru the years it has to be updated?
I bought the 2020 Navigation Kit for my 2017 Premiere. I think it’s worth it. I know many use their phone for navigation these days. I prefer to have a dedicated navigation system. I have live traffic and weather through OnStar and Sirius.

Yes, it took about the same amount of time as yours did to install the new software.
