Recently the electronic latch has stopped working leaving the trunk partially open but not flapping...any one know how to make it a manual latch, the motor is waaay to expensive to replace, told him I'd ask
Try getting to the motor shaft. The way it works is it spins the shaft that the latch is on upwards when you open the trunk and then pull the latch down when you close the lid. You should be able to spin the shaft to where it would rest if it had closed automatically. This has been done on several Ford models that I know of.

Some guy smoked this poor girl into a Telephone pole and been the frame, i got to her before the scrap guy did. Everything is still here but the passenger fender, lights, and the bumper. If anybody needs anything id love to see it go to a good home
