Okay. After my car sits for more than two days, it often starts funny. It sounds terrible, and other times, it barely starts at all. But this is again, only after it has sat for more than a day. Any idea what is causing this? Thanks!

Take fuel pressure reading.....sounds possible that your fuel pressure regulator is taking a dive and bleeding off pressure.

You will need a fuel pressure gauge (about 10-15 bucks at cheap tool store) at the back of the motor, by the EGR valve you will see a small plastic cap (like the caps on the tire valve stem to fill air) remove that by screwing it off, screw on the fuel pressure gauge hose. Make sure the car has not been turned on for a while to avoid the fuel that is under pressure from shooting out as you screw in gauge hose.

After you screw it on hand tight, turn the key on and off a few times WITHOUT STARTING THE CAR, then leave the key in the on position and check the pressure. The pressure should be about 44 PSI. it can be a little lower but not much lower, about 40 is ok. The pressure should NOT fall, it should hold the same pressure it starts off with originally. If it holds pressure, then you can start the car and see what the pressure is while the car is running....again it should be no less than 40 PSI.

Always check a few times during this process to make sure the fuel gauge is not leaking fuel. After you are done testing let the car cool a while before removing the pressure gauge hose just to be safe. Hope this helps.
