Hey gang!
>>> If you've got that LOUD/FAST clicking sound behind your dash, it's one of FOUR actuators that control the movement/blending of air for the A/C-system.

For the heck of it, took some pics when I was replacing the pass.-side air inlet actuator.
Glove-box was taken out.
This time, the GM part was SLIGHTLY different (improved I hope!??!?)
I think the new part said "Made in Korea", instead of China.
It also had a green dot painted on it:
(old/existing-part on Left)

From pass.-side, looking toward center:
* 2 views showing the white spindle sticking out of the dual temp-control body.
* The old actuator pic'd above, on left, was unscrewed & slid off that white shaft.
* The top pic of these 2 show the elec.-connector to the actuator. I just pulled it forward & out.

* New actuator installed. Took this pic cuz I don't think my middle glove-box center hinge-pin was installed?! I put a screwdriver tip in there! Unless it was lost b4 we bought the car?! Maybe they weren't put in on purpose??

* Bonus pic here looking at the Actuator that runs the "clamshell-shaped" Outside-air/Recirculate shaft/door.
* If you're seated in pass.-seat, it's roughly ahead of your right knee.
* This actuator is the same part# as the 2 on either side of the center temp/blend box.
* It's got the light blue elec-clip in the top.

Thought I should point out-

In the upper-left of 2nd pic down, you can see part of a part-barcode.
* That's part of the taller "Mode-Actuator".
* Of the 4 actuators, this is the only different one.
* It switches which "Mode" your Climate-control is in...Defrost, vent, heater, & the combinations of those.
* So...if you're rotating the dial to switch into Defrost, THIS part goes to work.
* It's #1 in the attached diagram...
