Just signed up after a search for a problem led me to this forum. Recently picked up an 07 LT with the 3.9 and was researching info on a minor problem when I found this site. GM guy for many years, mostly chevys. F-C was a 55 Olds if that dates me a little. ASE Master Certification. Current fleet includes the 07 Impala, 97 Sonoma, 96 Tahoe and the 59 Apache. Hope to check in from time to time. Thanks for the forum and the info it provides.

Welcome. You should find this Forum totally helpful and a good place just to hang out. Before Tony shows up I will encourage you to post pics for his entertainment. They don't have to be of your car or anything much at all. He just likes look at shiny things.

Welcome, where are you from?

Despite my current stable, I also am long time GM only guy, with several factories (CTS/SRX/ATS/VOLT/Acadia/Traverse/Enclave) close to my office in Lansing, MI. Unfortuneately, GM simply did not have anything that fit my criteria (large, AWD, 0-60 in 5.5 or less) when I was forced to go to the dark side last year (F*RD). Luckily, the guys here let me stay. LOL.

Sold this to get the 07. My daughter raced for 9 years, the last three in this car. She retired at the ripe age of 17 at the end of this season. This is her favorite photo of her car. The second shot is a photo she took of it. It is shiny for Tony. We are in Colorado.

Welcome

Nice dragster what times was it running?
NHRA limits the JD3 class to 7.90 in the 1/8 mile or 85mph. (it could do much better than that, we had to hold it back)

Here is a link to more than you ever wanted to know about Jr Drag Racing, but if you have kids and want to spend some quality time with them, I highly recommend it. NHRA Jr. Drag Racing League

Here is a so-so video of one of her passes.
