I have a 2000 Impala, 3.8L. I just replaced the Mass Air Flow sensor and my check engine light still keeps coming on, pulling the mass air flow sensor code. The light goes on and off randomly. What other parts could be causing the car to pull the mass air flow code?

What brand did you get? Some have problems right out of the box. It's also possible the wiring is bad.

I have a BWD from Advance Auto. Took one back because it failed. Got an replacement and it works fine but the light still comes up off and one. For an example the light may stay on for a few days but then go off for a week. Could something be causing it to fail?

Well, like I said the wiring could be an issue. Check the pigtail for any signs of wear, maybe try wiggling the wires while the car is running and see if it affects it.
