Yes it is most likely the float sensor for the coolant level. The sensor should be located in the overflow tank. I am not sure if it is a replaceable part or if you need to replace the resivour.

my low coolant display keeps coming on the level is fine and my temperature is stable could this be a sensor and if so where can I find it thanx :marc.
